Winston Harrell

Winston Harrell is an American-born artist from Oceanside California. He relocated to Chicago in 1958 where he started his art career by painting murals in 1972 at the Mayor Daily's Summer Youth program for inner-city artists. Later he enrolled in a correspondence Art course at Art instruction Schools where he learned all the Fundaments of commercial Art. Due to his thrust for Artistic excellence, he enrolled in Le Cordon Blue, Westwood College, and Art Institute of Phoenix where he received degrees in Culinary Arts and Graphic Design. My goal as an artist is to create art that is appealing to the younger generation. By using old-world technology to create hand-drawn images I plan to bring back those great illustrations from my childhood.
