William Taylor is a 23-year-old artist working out of Southern California. After dropping out of college for mental health reasons, he slowly found his way as an artist. He lives with his mom and has worked various jobs to support his artistic dreams.

Artist Statement:

William Taylor’s work combines texture based abstraction and text to create introspective, atmospheric experiences that comment on the way we relate to ideas and emotions. Using acrylic paint, oil sticks, and paper towels for smearing textures, William builds his paintings one layer at a time. Above all, his work aspires to take his audience on an inward journey through the possibilities of our emotional and personal landscape.
