My name is Thor Rafnsson, born in Reykjavik. I got my education at Iceland Academy of the Arts, in Reykjavík. Currently I live and work here in Denmark. My years in Iceland have given me a lot of inspiration and still do when I go home on vacation. The great contrasts, the beautiful language and the harsh and harsh nature appeal to me, which is reflected in my pictures. The colors in my paints are usually bright. I think it is important to find the shape and balance of the image. Through my paintings I try to express our inner spiritual space. The inner space where the imagination flows freely and gives the interpreter free opportunities.
