In my art I incorporate the medium of collage to compose portraits of strong, confident women. I utilize different tones of paper to generate shadow and texture, and find joy when the multiple pieces I cut come together to create a work of art that exemplifies the boldness and beauty of the female form.

Each piece that I make is one of a kind and is composed of up-cycled magazines and wrapping paper. Employing paper as my medium grants me the pleasure of exploring my creativity and allows my ideas to become tangible on the canvas. I am inspired by intersectional feminism, religious tales, female historical figures, ancient Greek art, and the art of the Renaissance.
