Taking inspiration from two very different themes, nature and astronomy, as well as two of the greatest artist from the last century, Pollock and Richter, Babo mixes and combines different techniques to come up with his typical style and vibrant and colorful abstract work.

The fastness of the universe, the decay of material, these things intrigue him. He believes nature provides us with the most beautiful patterns and color schemes - the woods in autumn or an old patio set of which the paint is peeling off. He likes to transfer this to his canvasses. Together with some "Babo-sauce", this seems to be a recipe for some really cool abstract art.
